The Halls of Justice for marketing

When I was a kid, when superheroes weren’t out fighting the good fight, they were gathering at the Halls of Justice. Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, the Green Lantern, Superman… the Halls of Justice was their HQ, in a made-up city called Metropolis.

The cool thing about super heroes is that they all have unique powers. No two are alike, but together, they can really get things whipped into shape.

Business is a lot like that, too. It really does take the wisdom of a group of smart people to get your business moving forward in the right direction. No one person holds all the answers.

I, for instance, teach service professionals how to write marketing that attracts their ideal clients like moths to a flame.

And as important as that is, sometimes other stuff can get in your way. Like:
Not knowing how to prioritize what’s most important (or money-making)
• Having too many good ideas (and not knowing which one to do first)
• Feeling frazzled and too busy
• Frittering away hours on social media but not having time for a newsletter or blog
• Needing to set up better systems in your business
• Not feeling confident about sales conversations
• Not having a support team
• Wanting to write a book, but not knowing where to start
• Not knowing the basics about WordPress (which you know I love… but that’s not what you’ll learn from me!)
• Still believing you have to do everything yourself

Which is why, if any of these things are currently holding your business back, you’re in for a treat. Next week, I’ll be hosting 15 of the most successful business owners I’ve ever met, at the world premier of “Marketing Secrets of the Rich + Famous” Summit.

Three talks a day with 6- and multi-6-figure business owners, for a whole week. The ins & outs of marketing strategies that get results. The tales of what they tried. What worked. What didn’t. And what YOU need to do to build up steam in your marketing so you can make more AND help more, too.

I’m a big believer in talking to other smart people. You’ve got to come out of isolation and reach other to others who are where you want to be. Even if it gives you butterflies in your stomach.

I didn’t invent everything I know how to do! Someone taught me. More than one person, in fact. From learning how to share more of who you are in your business (check out Nisha Moodley’s talk on Wednesday: “Fabulousity Is A Business Strategy: How to Attract Clients By Creating A Fabulous Life for Yourself”)… to becoming a student of converting prospects into clients (Carolyn Herfurth’s “Insider Secrets to Confident Sales Conversations That Close” on Friday is for you)… to one of my sheroes, Linda Claire Puig who hired me when I was just starting out (“Newsletter Marketing Secrets of the Rich and Famous” on Monday). There’s something at the Summit that will help you grow your business.

And it will be my honor to interview one of my mentors, who has helped me create a six-figure business in two years (starting from scratch!). Monica Shah is a super-sharp business woman with panther-like focus and a gift for teaching, and it’s my great pleasure to share one of my biggest “secret weapons” with you (she speaks Monday).

To your champagne wishes and caviar dreams,

Stella O.
