4-week production lab
Your website is the front porch of your business online. You want it to be warm and inviting so your favorite kinds of clients want to “come in” to your business. To do that, you need to make a real connection on your homepage, tell a powerful story on your About page, and solve their problem on your Services page. In this fast-paced production lab, you will learn to do just that… as you actually write your website. So let’s get that bad boy written, already!
By the end of the lab, you will have:
- Completed writing 3 web pages – Homepage, About, Services
- Basic training in core copywriting skills, including writing calls to action, headlines, pull questions, and hooks
- 2 strategies to increase traffic to your website
- 3 strategies to turn visitors into subscribers
- A “powerful story” about how you came to do the work you do (you can use this for talks + teleseminars)
- Clarity about what you need to write NEXT to build your online platform
- Instructions for how to title and create your awesome free gift so people opt-in to your newsletter
- Enthusiasm about writing, marketing, and promoting your business

“Writing That Sells” — Level 2
9-week production lab
You’ve got a website-now what? For your business to work online, you need to write in a way that’s different from what we learned in school. Instead of writing to inform, you need to write to connect, inspire, and influence. That’s what writing effective copy is really about. And you don’t need to be a natural “writer” to do it right.
In this production lab, you’ll learn how to craft copy that attracts high-quality, high paying clients. You’ll get in-depth training in core copywriting skills including writing headlines, email subject lines, pull questions, and bullet lists. Since the best way to learn is to do, you’ll practice flexing your growing copywriting “muscles” as you write 3 projects: your awesome free gift, an opt-in page for your awesome free gift, and articles for your newsletter and blog.

The “Get It Done” Writing Brigade — Level 3
2-month production lab for people writing launches or websites
You’ve got a launch on the calendar… and whoa nelly, you’ve got a lot of writing to do. You may have a business coach or mastermind group, but you want more support and feedback on your copywriting. The “Get It Done” Writing Brigade is for you. Each quarter, Stella supports 4 business owners as they write their launches.
The Brigade meets the first 3 Fridays of each month, 11 am -12:45pm EST (schedule sometimes changes; ask before you join). You get feedback on what you’ve written, plus notes on the highest leverage items to tweak so you up your writing confidence as you up your response rate. Each Brigade member gets 3 twenty minute hot seats over 2 months to review high-impact projects like your sales page, preview call page, email campaign-plus email feedback between hot seats on what you’ve written… so you get it done. Plus, we write together each week, so you keep your momentum going! This also works if you need to rewrite your website.
