One Story

Use the hero story of your core customer to resonate with better clientele. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll define the ‘core customer’ for your coaching, healing, or consulting business; map out her ‘hero story’ of why she comes to work with you (and how you help her change her life for the better); and gain 3 key distinctions to dramatically improve the quality of your clientele. Deliverables: core customer profile, hero story map, ‘sh*tty first draft’ list of content ideas for your blog, newsletter, videos, and other content, based on the hero story.

Find Your Words

Wednesday, April 4th 3-4:30 pm ET

Create clear, powerful language to effectively communicate the value of your work. In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll start by exploring 3 key distinctions that will improve the quality of your marketing forever: urgency vs. ripeness, clever vs. clear, and perfection vs. showing up. Then, you will create a Message Playbook for your business, including: who you serve, the key moment when clients call on you, how you serve clients, what you help you clients do, what sets you apart in the marketplace (your 3 Uniques), your job title, and what you call your initial session/sales conversation. You’ll leave this workshop with a ‘sh*tty first draft’ of your Message Playbook that you can immediately implement to resonate with the right clientele.

Write Your One Page Website

Wednesday, May 16th 3-4:30 pm ET

Write a simple, effective one page website that resonates with the right customers. Good news! Most coaches, healers, and consultants no longer need a multi-page website with lots of words. Your customers don’t want to read a bunch of bluster; they want to feel a connection and that you offer what they’ve been searching for. In this 90-minute workshop, you will write a 5 section, one page website that clearly and powerfully presents who you work with, what you do for your clients, when your clients call on you, who you are and what makes you unique in the marketplace, and invites people to take the next step towards working with you. You’ll also get two magical tools: the incantation ‘Done is better than perfect’ and the almighty Deadline. Deliverables: One Page Website and Questionnaire to qualify leads before they schedule an initial session with you. NOTE: We STRONGLY RECOMMEND completing the One Story workshop prior to writing your One Page Website, because it will help you get clear about WHO your core customer is, and the hero journey they are on.

In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll start by dispelling the myth that you ‘MUST’ do Facebook, write newsletters, or use any other specific marketing platform you detest (because the truth is, your enjoyment is what resonates with your core customer.) Then, we’ll talk about using story, vulnerability, creativity and consistency as you create engaging and original content. Deliverables: core customer profile, a simple structure for engaging, effective content, clearly naming the big, relevant change in the world that your work speaks to, crafting calls to action.

Much like Find Your Words, we’ll start by exploring 3 key distinctions that will improve the quality of your marketing forever: urgency vs. ripeness, clever vs. clear, and perfection vs. showing up. But this time, you’ll create a Message Playbook for the spoken word – so that you never experience that ‘deer in the headlights’ look or ‘verbal diarrhea’ in a conversation again! This version of your Message Playbook for your business includes: who you serve; the moments when clients call on you; what you help your clients do; a concise answer to the question ‘so what do you do?’; what to say to Allies to they can refer you business; and what to say to potential clients. You’ll leave this workshop with a ‘sh*tty first draft’ of your Message Playbook, that you can immediately implement in your next conversation to delightful result.

Update Your One Story

Wednesday, October 24th 3-4:30 pm ET

Notice what’s new, what’s changed, and what’s no longer true about your core customer to improve the quality of your clients in 2019. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll reassess the ‘core customer’ for your coaching, healing, or consulting business and decide whether or not to tweak the sorts of clients you are pursuing work with in the future. (Hint: Because as you grow and evolve, your core customer profile shifts along with you.) From there, you’ll map out the ‘hero story’ of your UPDATED core customer and create powerful distinctions between your ‘old’ core customer profile and the people you will serve in 2019. Deliverables: updated core customer profile, hero story map. NOTE: You do not need to complete the One Story workshop earlier in the year to do this workshop, but we think it’d be a cool way to ‘bookend’ your year.
