...you know that marketing is what’s going to bring you more money and more clients.
So why are there so many smart service professionals, healers, teachers, and creative peeps out there who aren’t attracting the high-caliber, high-paying clients they deserve?
It’s not about the information. There’s plenty of it out there. Know what I think?
But first, I want to ask you a question.
What gets in your way of spreading the word about your business?
I’ll bet it’s three things. One, strategy. Knowing what to do, and having a step-by-step plan to get it done. Once you get clear on the direction, there’s no stopping you.
Two is language. The “cat gets your tongue” when it comes to writing about yourself or your business. Well, no need to beat yourself up about that. Most of us weren’t taught how to write copy in English class.
Three, part of what gets in your way is logistics—carving out the time you need to think. To “dive for pearls.” To park your butt in your chair and just write. To reach out and build the relationships you need to have a biz that’s in demand in any economy. Especially when you’re already so busy!
But there’s something else I think you need to do, too…
And start writing about your work from a place that’s more alive, flirty and real. Because when you know how to do write and promote from THAT place, magic happens.
You no longer “just” run a business. You are running a revolution. And the revolution is what you’re ideal clients are really after. They don’t want more of the status quo. They don’t want more fake people using the word “authentic.” They want truth. They want connection. They want to solve their problems. And they are willing to pay the person who knows how to do this very, very well.
When you master the basic marketing and writing skills, you will have as many clients and as much income as you want.
Which means you’ve got to find YOUR voice in writing. You’ve got to know the words to use that really connect with your ideal clients. You’ve got to train you mind to THINK and COMMUNICATE in a new way. And you’ve got to quit being a perfectionist and just get your writing and marketing DONE.If you’re saying “Hallelujah!
